             ON-LINE HELP FOR LISTVOTES
             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This window is devided into four major parts. The
body of the window is a selected listing of 10
votes. The top left and bottom left are your
control icons. The top right details how many votes
you have loaded.
"SCROLL UP" will, if possible, scroll the list up
a vote.
"SCROLL DOWN" will, if possible, scroll the list
down a vote.
"START" and "END" take you, respectively, to the
beginnend and the end of the list. This is useful
as a quick way to see new votes. Just click on "END"
and "SCROLL UP" as necessary.
If you click on a question, you can edit the text
of the question directly. Click [SELECT] on the vote
number to enter the full votes editor. Or you could
click [ADJUST] on a vote number to 'tag' the vote.
Tagged votes are shown by a '*' beside the vote
number.
EDIT:
  When you click [MENU] over a question, this will
  come up with the question number (eg: "EDIT 123").
  If not, it will just say "EDIT" (meaning edit 1).
  This option will call up the votes editor. It's
  easier to click [SELECT] on the vote number. :-)
CUT:
  This option is blanked if you don't click [MENU]
  over a question. When selected, this will store
  the current vote in the clipboard and delete it
  from the list. Further clipboard operations (cut
  again or copy) will overwrite this.
COPY:
  This option is blanked if you don't click [MENU]
  over a question. When selected, this will store
  the current vote in the clipboard. Further
  clipboard operations (cut or copy again) will
  overwrite the clipboard.
PASTE:
  This option is blanked if you don't click [MENU]
  over a question. When selected, if anything is
  stored in the clipboard, it will 'paste' that
  information into the current vote, overwriting
  previous contents.
INSERT:
  This option is blanked if you don't click [MENU]
  over a question. When selected, a blank vote will
  be added into the list as the CURRENT vote (the
  real current vote and all others after will be
  shifted up one place). A quirk of the system will
  prevent you from selecting this vote to edit. You
  must select to edit a vote either side, then
  select the PREVIOUS or NEXT icon in the editor.
  This action is designed to be used with the
  cut/copy/paste actions.
  IMPORTANT: You /must/ put something in any
             inserted votes otherwise CastAWote may
             get very upset.
DELETE:
  This option is blanked if you don't click [MENU]
  over a question. When selected, this will delete
  the current vote. This operation is quite slow on
  large databases - taking longer the further up
  the list you are.
APPEND:
  Like INSERT, this creates a blank vote - but
  places it at the end of the list. This is the
  preferred way to do things, and consequently can
  be edited directly without requiring you to play
  around with things.
VERIFY DATA:
  This will verify your Data and rebuild the file
  if there are errors.
EXPRTRESULT:
  This option is unavailable in this release.
EXPORT DATA:
  Brings up a submenu:
    All votes
    Vote #
    No tagged
    Save Backup
  ALL VOTES:
    This option will open a window. On the left
    side of the window is a list of file types.
    The top-right side of the window operates like
    a standard 'save' window.
    For information on the file formats, refer to
    the on-line help available in that window.
  VOTE #:
    Saving of individual votes is not yet
    implemented. Some versions of VoteEdit may
    save single votes, or display diagnostics info,
    but the accuracy of any files created is not
    yet guaranteed.
  NO TAGGED:
    Saving of tagged votes is not yet implemented.
  SAVE BACKUP:
    This will create a special text file that
    records ALL the votes data in a readable form.
    As no control codes are used, this is a perfect
    way to send votes databases via email.
    Drag the created file into VoteEdit to
    completely recreate your database. This is
    intended as a security measure...
SAVE VOTES:
  This will save the votes database. Most important
  operations save the data as it is changed... But
  the paranoid people may like this option. :-)
LOAD/RELOAD:
  This will reload the database. If anything is
  unsaved, you will be asked to confirm loading.
ENSURE:
  This option is unavailable in this release.
